Biocompatible fibers from fungal and shrimp chitosans for suture application

چکیده
• Fungal and shrimp chitosan were wet spun to monofilament yarns. Using adipic acid as solvent generally resulted in fibers with higher tensile strength compared obtained using lactic acid. Chitosan monofilaments showed a similar or better biocompatibility commercial sutures. are good candidates for being used Purified fungal crustacean by acids solvent.
